When I wrote about my 2013 targets earlier in the month, I mentioned that I was hoping to do some more jewellery making. When we lived in Tonbridge, a friend of mine who made some of her own jewellery gave me the opportunity to make some bracelets. I really loved this opportunity to be creative and do something completely different. Since moving here last summer, I have tried to take this up as a hobby a little bit more. Back in October, Chris looked after the children for half a day so I could attend a class which covered making triple stranded necklaces. I would love to think that in 2013 I might have the opportunity to go to another class or two and learn some more skills.
I recently ordered some beads to have a go at making some Christmas earrings. A few people have expressed an interest in seeing some of the things I’ve been making and so I thought I’d share some on here. Hope you don’t mind. Hopefully there will be more to follow in the coming weeks…
